Tour of California 2009 announced

The Tour of California is expanding to nine stages for its 2009 edition, up from 7-plus-prologue in 2008. Route details for the fourth edition of the race were announced on Wednesday [2008-07-23] during the North American edition of the Tour de France broadcast. I just got back from a bicycle race in west Malaysia called the Governor of Malacca Cup, to which I was assigned by the UCI as a “mentor”. So, most of my time was spent observing what happened.
